
The Challenge
Established in 1988, APC is an innovative and environmentally friendly company offering pest management services to residential and commercial clients in Western Australia, specialising in the mining, oil and gas industries.

THE PROBLEM
The existing website was outdated, and its appearance didn’t convey the professionalism that was well known from Advanced Pest Control. While the site had all the information there, it was hard to navigate, slow and not well structured.

Our Approach
We performed in-depth research into the commercial pest control industry using sophisticated SEO tools such as SEMRush, as well as taking into account the company’s existing Google Analytics data.
After conducting a UX and SEO audit on the site, the SEO and Web Team identified areas of change needed to drive the new design of the website, making it easier to use and present the essential information in a way that APC’s customers would appreciate.

The design brief, approved by the client was to clearly show APC’s expertise, and commitment to being environmentally sound, and safe to the client and public. Having this information easy to find was as important as imparting the different industries that APC service and which pests they can control. We prepared a style guide and voice for APC and got to work.
